Useage of Gauge

I think that the usage of Platinum’s gauge will be as follows.

1.Combo

  • Combo finish by Cure Dot Typhoon
  • You can earn 1144 damage with damage guarantee.

  • Miracle Jeanne Combo
  • It depends on weapons and these combo are not high damage.
    If you use OD when health is low, you can earn about 1000 damage.

  • Miracle Janne + finish by Cure Dot Typhoon
  • you can earn about 2000 damage.

  • (In corner)Throw→214B→CT
  • If Throw in Corner, you can earn about 200 damage by using CT.

  • (In Center)Mami Circular→Falling Melody RC
  • When persia will not hit, you can extend combo with Mami Circular→Falling Melody RC.
    If 5A hit, damege increase about 1600 → 3000.
    If 5B hit, damege increase about 1800 → 3300.
    It increase about 1400 ~ 1500 damage.

2.mix-up, frame_trap

  • Dramatic Sammy RC
  • You can break into the combo by comand throwing.
    In Center 3300 damage, and corner 3500 damage.
    It increase about 1700 ~ 2000 damage.

  • 6B RC(close contact)
  • This have two advantage.
    Even 6B hit in close contact, you can combo.
    Even if 6B is guarded, you can continue attacking.
    But I do not use because there are low jump Swallow Moon in close.

  • Persia C RC
  • If oppnent is crouching and in center, you can cross up with Persia C.
    236A(C) RC→JC→5B→3C→236B→22C this combo is 2121 damage。
    Use 22C RC, combo damege will be about 3400.

    It’s a bit difficult,
    236A(C) RC→JC→Short Dash 5B→3C→236A(BBB)→~
    will be about 3100 damage.
    This combo is impossible for characteres who hard to hit Persia.

  • CT
  • If the Opponent normal block charge CT, You can combo starting 5B, 5C.
    The combo damage will be about 2750 ~ 3000.

  • Mami Circular(B) RC
  • Even if Mami Circular is guarded, you can continue attacking.
    If you hit it, you get a combo with about 3450 damage.
    Just because you do RC does not mean that the combo will extend.

3.Reversal

  • guard cancel
  • Most stable, but 0 damage.

  • Cure Dot Typhoon
  • Counter hit 2752 damage.
    Startup is slowly and freeze, difficult to hit.

  • Happy Magicka RC
  • If counter hit,damage increase 110 → 2395.(difference 2285 damage)

other

  • Jeanne for Footsies
  • Equip items for footsies such ad cat hammer.

  • Jeanne for Hit Confirm
  • Mainly use 3C hit confirmation.

  • Jeanne for DP Confirm
  • Do Jeanne when Okizeme, you can confirm opponent do DP or not.

Gauge Efficiency

Think about gauge efficiency with damage around 10% gauge.

If you think with damage, you will use these.
But you can’t expect to normal guard charge CT.

It is risky to rely reversal(cure and magica).
Sammy isn’t used freqently.

Then, there remain Mami Circular→Falling Melody RC, Combo finish by Cure Dot Typhoon.
Mami Circular→Falling Melody RC has many time to use and high efficiency, I feel this is main usage.

mix up

persia C cross up is difficult to guard, I think good that use of gauge for it.
However, compromissed combo will be only 2100 damage, feel no power.

If you can 236A(C) RC→JC→Short Dash 5B→3C→236A(BBB)→~,
deal over 3000 damage, so it is effective.

Next, I recommend Sammy RC.
Damage efficiency is good, and there are chance to win by using OD for burst safe combo.

After that I think that it will be an accent if you rarely use 6 BRC, CT, B Mamitha RC.

Reversal

After all ,guard cancel is the most stable.
If you have enough health and think can fight spacing, gaurd cancel is good usage.

Cure and Magica are troubled by judgment…
Damage efficiency is good, but these are hard to hit and high risk.
I think it is effective when used rarely.

Summary

・Looking only damage efficiency, it is best to use charge CT for guard break.
・Use for combo, recommend Mami Circular→Falling Melody RC, Combo finish by Cure Dot Typhoon.
・Use for mix up, recommend persia C RC(cross up), Sammy RC.
・Use for reversal, guard cancel is stable. Cure and Magia is high damage efficiency.
